Hi Everyone! My name is Blake Hart and my family and I reside in Anchorage, AK. I am married to my beautiful wife Rae, and together we have 2 boys: Colt and Winchester (Chet), and a little girl Georgia Rae. My educational background consists of a BS in Christian Ministry, an MDiv in Church History, and I am currently working on my Ph.D. in history. I am the lead pastor of Hillside Baptist Church, and it is through that experience that I have decided to begin this blog. As ministers we get very little opportunity to communicate with our congregations regarding the Bible, the church, and the current culture outside of the hour we have set aside on Sunday mornings, and in some cases Sunday nights. The blog posts on this site are not products of the organizations that I work for, but reflect my own opinions on the topics discussed.
